For android rooted devices , it’s easy to configure BWR to accelerate the internet access , to do so :
- Select your connection (Mobile , Wifi or bluetooth)
- Create a rule by clicking on add
- Choose the amount of data you would like to consume / or choose unlimited data plan
- Click on speed limiting and set it to custom
- Fill in the rate value by setting your estimated upload speed (you already learnt it by performing a speed test)
- Check in the Fast surf feature
- Apply
- Enjoy an accelerated connection …

Can you set different rules for Mobile Connection when roaming? It would be very useful to be able to set Mobile connection Roaming rules and home network separately.

i would like to thank the dev for his effort putting this together. I know im late to the party but i just love the app. I still cant tell if its “slowing down” problem apps on my non rooted device but on my rooted device it works out of the box with minor configs if any. Please advise on the no root solution to slowing down bandwith for problem apps or must i download netspeed and test. Im currently using latest version 3.25

Unfortunately , the no root solution was frozen due to technical issues. So for now , root is required for these features to work properly.
